Newt and Harold’s is teaming up with Tree Fort Music Festival to bring the latest and greatest in music to the Treasure Valley! Festival Dates are March 22-25th, 2012. 4 day music festival passes are available for $79 or you can purchase day tickets individually. A little history lesson and Hello!
History
In 1985 two ladies Lori Wright and Lori Ambur decided to start a business called the “Sports Exchange.” The idea was to sell new and used sports gear. In a small space of about 750 square feet they started their business. With some luck, they continued with the Sports Exchange for about 7 years. In the early 90′s the Lori’s wanted to take their business to a new level. With the expansion into a bigger retail space, and the transition to only new board equipment and apparel, they became what you know today as “Newt and Harold’s”.
Newt and Harold’s has been operating successfully under the same two women for over 26 years now. Selling the best of the best snowboards, skateboards, longboards and apparel. Newt and Harold’s has been a skate shop, a sponsorship, a trend setter, a social group, and a home for many people over the years.

Today I am happy to announce the beginning of another legacy. The women’s department of Newt and Harold’s! It will be known as Newt’Shes. Newt’Shes is more then just a clothing/board store, we are women, a community, a fashion house, a home for the women of board sports, a place to connect with other ladies like you! We will posting about the Women of Newt’shes, fashion trends, new clothes in the store, upcoming events, special sales found only here and some exciting little extras. So stay tuned, and welcome. We are happy to meet you and have you be apart of Newt’Shes!
